West Michigan Opera Project with Southwest Symphony + Opera Grand Rapids

September and October, 2025 were bustling months for Aziza. She performed in two of the three concerts in the series An Evening with Mozart, accompanied by pianist Scott Taylor, with the final concert scheduled for October 18. She also joined members of the West Michigan Opera Project and the Southwest Symphony for A Night at the Opera, performing select chorus numbers from iconic operas as well as singing Carmen’s part in the “Toreador Song.” Additionally, Aziza participated in a special one-off concert with WMOP for Opera in the Movies. On October 10 and 11, she performed in the chorus for Opera Grand Rapids’ production of H.M.S. Pinafore, the beloved comic opera by Gilbert and Sullivan, known for its witty libretto and memorable melodies.
